One Inch Uist Belt Buckle and Plate with Iron Tongue

This buckle is based on one found on Uist. It is fairly plain, and is quite late, dating from around the 11th to 12th centuries. The style, however, is quite widespread at this time.

This buckle and plate is cast in lead free pewter, which is fairly soft, so care is required when attaching it to leather. See our ready made belt section if you want us to do that for you.
