Black Scattered Runes Tea Towel

Our Younger Futhark runic tea towel designs are based on the Danish younger futhark that was used in the Viking age.

The inscription across the top of this tea towel reads 'ungri futhark' - younger futhark in old norse. This was the language of the runes, although words were often spelled phonetically as many letters were represented by their closest sound.
