This stamped cuff bracelet is based on one made of silver that was found in a hoard of Viking treasure in Huxley, Cheshire, in 2004. The hoard has been dated to the early 1oth century. Bracelets such as this had a dual purpose as personal decoration, and a convenient way of carrying wealth, as silver was used as currency in everyday transactions in the Viking age.

This bracelet should be carefully sized to fit so that it can be taken on and off. Over bending should be avoided as this may cause metal fatigue.
It is available in both 925 Sterling silver, and lead free pewter. The silver version is hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office. These are hand stamped and shaped bracelets, and while we try to keep them in stock production and delivery time can take up to 3 weeks.
