This silver bracelet is based on a broad-band Hiberno-Norse arm-ring from the Cuerdale Hoard. These arm rings were common in the Irish sea area, and have been found in hoards such as the Galloway Hoard and the Cuerdale Hoard. The originals were hammered out from cast ingots to form a flat band, then decorated with punches.
The bracelet is hand made and decorated in our workshop in Argyll, Scotland, from 925 sterling silver. It is hallmarked at Edinburgh Assay office. While we try to keep them in stock, if you need it in less than 30 days please email for availability.

This bracelet are designed to be worn loose, adjust once to fit, then avoid bending.
